Underwater ROV Workshop with Perry Lyford-Stojic
Date: July 10, 2026
Times: Ages 5-7: 10am - 12pm
Ages 8-10: 1:00am-3:00pm
Description:
One day class with engineer Perry Lyford-Stojic. Participants will build an underwater remotely operated vehicle using PVC parts and small motors. After building it they can try it out in a large tub of water.

Cool Chemistry with Erika Fatura

Description:
Get ready for bubbling reactions, colorful chemistry, dry ice fog, slime, and hands-on science fun! Kids will become junior scientists as they make predictions, test ideas, and explore exciting experiments like sink-or-float challenges, acid/base reactions, Gas Law demonstrations and Diet Coke & Mentos.
This energetic program is packed with discovery, and unforgettable science moments designed to spark curiosity and show kids just how exciting chemistry can be!

STEM Adventures with MSU Extension and Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative
Date: Tuesdays, June 23rd-August 11th
Cost: FREE
Time: 10:00am-11:00am
Description: STEM Adventures are funded by MSU Extension and Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative. The program intertwines STEM and literacy to spark curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and innovation. Such explorations help to prepare children to navigate an increasingly complex world with confidence and proficiency. The program is tailored to children ages 4 to 9, but children outside this age range are welcome.

Forensics with Erika Fatura
Date: June 18, 2026
Times: Age 5-7: 10:00am-12:00pm

Description:
Step into the world of crime scene investigation! Campers will become junior forensic scientists as they analyze evidence, solve mysteries, and use real scientific techniques to crack a case. Participants will explore fingerprinting, mystery powders, handwriting comparisons, DNA concepts, and more through exciting hands-on activities and challenges.
This interactive camp combines science, problem-solving, and teamwork to give students a fun and unforgettable look into the fascinating world of forensic science!

Drone Workshop with Scott Anderson

Take flight with STEM!
In this hands-on workshop, kids will learn how drones work, explore the science behind flight, and even try flying a real drone. Perfect for curious minds ready to soar!
