Mathkind

In an innovative project with Mathkind we have embedded real-world math in the museum’s exhibits.

For example, climbing into the cockpit of the Cessna airplane creates opportunities for children to learn through hands-on discovery. What if they also thought about how many people the plane could hold? Or whether it could land on the street outside? Questions like these prompt kids to reflect on possibilities and then critically evaluate them.
