Kristin Korendyke served as Board President from the establishment of Sandcastles Children's Museum until the end of July, 2012, when she resigned her position on the board to become the first Executive Director of Sandcastles. Since Sandcastles was established in 2006, the Board of Directors has assumed responsibility for all tasks associated with the museum, assisted by many wonderful volunteers and part-time employees. One of our long-term goals has been to hire an Executive Director to coordinate all of our efforts and to take charge of day-to-day operations. It is a natural transition for Kristin, and the Board is delighted she has accepted the position. As Executive Director, she works closely with the Board as an ex-officio member. She promotes the museum’s mission while serving as spokesperson for the museum.

Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Sandcastles
